RADCLIFFE ESTATE ENTRY SIGNAGE

Moir Landscape Architecture’s master plan for the Radcliffe Estate features recreational parkland, a sporting complex, and a number of pocket parks, to be delivered. Our involvement further saw us design the entry feature to the estate and an extensive Vegetation Management Plan.

Radcliffe is located in Wyee on 100 hectares of land and when complete will comprise of 850 new homes. The master planned residential community is a joint venture with The Stevens Group and The McCloy Group. We worked closely with the clients to determine their goals and provide best practice outcomes.

Located on previously farmed land, the site features a variety of remnant bushland ecologies, wildlife corridors and threatened species. The convergence of two water catchments on the site and lack of existing vegetation has led to flooding and soil erosion. The regeneration of the bushland from its current state back to a natural form was paramount to resolve erosion issues and to create a quality environment for fauna habitats. Working closely with engineers and ecologists, our team developed an extensive vegetation management plan to restore native vegetation and provide wildlife corridors for endemic fauna.

Our signage is a key feature as you enter the estate. Using a combination of natural materials, the long timber slates and dry brick walls embrace the entry point of the estate and creates a strong sense of arrival.
