Moir Landscape Architecture were engaged by Avid Property Group to complete the landscape design for the Waterford Sales Office at Waterford County. The sales office is located on Settlers Boulevard, adjacent the entrance to the subdivision and plays a key role in attracting visitors to the village.
Preparation of master plan drawings through to full construction drawings were completed, with construction concluding in late 2018. The development of the master plan placed emphasis on a strategic location and considered spatial design of the sales office building, café facility, break-out area and open space areas. Locations of vehicle and pedestrian access and car parking were also a highly prioritised aspect of the design to ensure clear connections were made to the display home village.
Through the use of large turf areas, shade trees, green arbours, decking, festoon lit break out zones and vegetable gardens, sophisticated and inviting places have been created for residents and visitors to engage with the local community.
The landscape design provides a pleasing arrival into the village.
