Moir Landscape Architecture were engaged by CWP Renewables to undertake a specialist Landscape Visual Impact Assessment to be incorporated into the Environmental Assessment Report for the proposed Uungula Wind Farm, located between Wuuluman and Twelve Mile, approximately 14 km East of Wellington, NSW.
We were involved in all aspects of the LVIA process and provided input into the community consultation at the early stages of the project to determine landscape values. A comprehensive assessment of visibility and potential visual impacts associated with the proposal utilising current best practice and latest technology in shadow flicker assessment, zone of visual influences and photo montage development. Practical and feasible mitigation methods were recommended to ensure the best outcomes for the client and community.
