Moir Landscape Architecture were engaged by Infigen Energy in 2011 to prepare a Landscape Visual Impact Assessment for a wind farm development within the highlands of Central Victoria, approximately 15km South East of Seymour, Victoria.
The project consisted of up to 16 wind turbines with a height of up to 160m. In addition to the wind turbines, associated infrastructure was assessed.
Extensive site analysis, landscape character assessment and investigation of cultural values was undertaken to assess the proposal. The photomontages we developed were a key medium utilised by Infigen Energy for consultation with community and assessment authorities.
