Moir Landscape Architecture were engaged by Singleton Shire Council to prepare the signage strategy for the Singleton Town Centre Upgrade. The project involved establishing a signage manual, to guide the design and placement of external signage and improve vehicle and pedestrian wayfinding into and around the town centre.
To do this, we developed a hierarchy of signage that reflects and enhances Singleton’s image and branding. It was designed to complement the streetscape masterplan, proposed Hunter Valley signage, and the town centre’s other contemporary upgrades.
Consideration during the project was given to longevity, production of economies, ease of installation, and maintenance.
