The village of Evans Head is situated on the far North Coast of NSW, at the mouth of the Evans River. It has been a special place for the Bundjalung nation and the Bundjalung people for thousands of years and more recently it has become a special place for residents and visitors alike with an increase in population from 2,600 up to 10,000 during the holiday season.

Our involvement in the redevelopment of the Holiday Park involved extensive consultation with all stakeholders. The design included the gateway into the site, a cohesive path network through the grounds and amongst the cabins as well as screening solutions to ensure privacy.

The row of Norfolk Island Pines on site required specific consideration and care during the design of the project. These trees are iconic landmarks in the area and the location and positioning of cabins, furniture and services all had to consider the safety and future of these trees.
