Changsha Rose Garden is a 50Ha residential development consisting of 20 high rise towers on podium. Moir Landscape Architecture were engaged to undertake design development for the lake edge areas and the communal areas surrounding the towers.
The design consisted of a series of themed gardens that provided areas of passive and active recreation for the village residents. The unique themes of each area assisted with establishing precincts within the estate and drew upon cultural and natural influences to enhance the pedestrian environment and reinforce the human scale of the podium level.
