THE OAKS ESTATE

Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley, The Oaks is a residential lifestyle community and tourist destination set around parklands, vineyards, mountains, and a championship golf course.

Moir Landscape Architecture were commissioned by the Stevens Group to undertake the design of the Oaks precinct of this benchmark estate. As the premier development within The Vintage, several exciting opportunities presented itself to reflect its status within the greater Vintage.

Collaboration with a local sculptor allowed for a bespoke centrepiece for the park, and coordination with the golf course achieved a connection to the existing golf cart access routes with the new development.

A sensitive approach to the rural character of the overall area ensured the retention of an existing dam for local fauna and habitat, and a considered planting design connected the surrounding golf course and natural beauty of the area.
